Low cost of such control systems is ensured by provision of the operating personnel with most necessary information. The list of controlled objects is also long: main and auxiliary equipment of electric power stations, heat substations, pumping stations, fuel gas treatment units.

STANDARD CONFIGURATION OF ELECTRIC POWER STATION’S TP ACS

TP ACS standard configuration consists of genset and common power station levels.

Genset level

  • The genset level holds local automatic control system (automatic control systems of gensets, automatic control systems of auxiliaries).
  • Based on the received commands and data on the parameters of a controlled process they issue equipment control signals.

Common power station level

The algorithms of control and monitoring of power station’s equipment and lower level automatic control systems are realized at the common power station level based on data received from the own information sources and from other automatic control systems through the relay-contact interface.

The TP ACS common power station level includes the power station’s automatic control system level. It is made as cabinets with control panels, on which the main mnemonic with controls and indicators is placed.
